Cartel holds a Master’s in Finance from Antwerp Management School (University of Antwerp) and a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from Strathmore University Business School, complemented by a Bachelor’s in Economics and Financial Management. He has been working with InVhestia Africa Limited on diverse corporate and project finance mandates across Africa, developing sectoral expertise in solar energy financing, real estate financing, telecommunication, manufacturing and hospitality. Cartel’ previous venture capital background having worked with Persistent Capital further strengthened his skills in pipeline development, market research, due diligence, and investment valuation.
An ethical professional, Cartel brings strong expertise in capital raising, investor engagement, financial modelling and valuation under the FAST Standard, as well as financial due diligence and advisory. He has also contributed to program management through the Gates Foundation–funded LMG program at Strathmore University Business School, where he serves as a junior lecturer.
He is a certified Clarity4D Business Partner and Coach, specializing in personality profiling, leadership, and management solutions. Cartel is also an alumnus of the McKinsey & Company Forward Program and holds certifications from InVhestia in Project Finance and Corporate Finance & Valuation under the FAST Standard, where he is a Level 1 Certified Professional. Additionally, he earned certifications in Business Analytics and Contemporary Issues in Global Finance from ESADE Business School in Barcelona.

Eric Musanganya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Management from ISIG Goma, DRC. He has built a career that bridges finance, hospitality, logistics, and real estate. Since 2014, he has served as Finance Director at Cap Kivu Hotel and Maison ML, a transport and logistics company. In these roles, he has overseen financial strategy, resource optimization, and operational growth, ensuring both institutions thrive in competitive sectors.
In 2021, Eric expanded into real estate development, spearheading projects that respond to Goma’s growing housing demand. His notable developments include Elina Residency, a modern apartment complex that contributes to the city’s urban renewal.
With experience spanning finance, hospitality, logistics, and property, Eric combines strong financial management with a vision for sustainable growth in key sectors of the regional economy.

Elie Musanganya Mushonga is a Congolese entrepreneur and consultant with a strong passion for integrated development in DRC and Africa at large. A graduate in Development Management from the Institut Supérieur d’Informatique et de Gestion in Goma, he has built his career at the intersection of hospitality, real estate, and logistics, combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience.
In 2017, he founded Établissement Mushonga, a company active in real estate and transportation, followed by the creation of Congo Local Guides in 2019, a tourism venture that highlights the cultural and natural richness of the Democratic Republic of Congo on both national and international stages.
Currently serving as Strategic Consultant for Maison ML SARL, he advises on major projects in construction, logistics, and supply services for humanitarian and international organizations. With over a decade of experience in business management and project execution, Elie is recognized for his pragmatic vision, innovative approach, and dedication to sustainable and inclusive development in Africa.

Figueroa is the CEO of Questworks and a Course Director and Lecturer at Strathmore Business School, with a distinguished career leading engineering teams and delivering construction and industrial projects across Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the United States, and Africa. His expertise spans project management, high-performance teambuilding, procurement, negotiations, decision and risk analysis, technology transfer, and re-engineering. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a PhD in Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Raúl is a Certified Post Tension Inspector, a member of IEEE, and an active contributor to the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA), bringing global insight and technical rigor to every initiative he leads.

A member of IEEE and KPDA’s Public Policy & Advocacy Committee, Amarjit contributes to shaping industry standards and advising the Board on strategic policy matters. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Birmingham University and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Construction Management from the University of Bath, UK.

With a background in electrical engineering and a Masters in energy, he integrates sustainability into projects while ensuring they remain affordable & resilient in compliance with World Bank and IFC Environmental and Social Safeguards. An Environmental Lead Expert, EPRA-licensed engineer, and EDGE practitioner, Philip oversees solar PV system design and operations, energy efficiency audits, lifecycle carbon analysis, and smart building integration—driving Questworks’ commitment to technical excellence and environmental stewardship.

Sankay Wamona Monique is a final-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at Strathmore University specializing in Power Systems. She is passionate about renewable energy, particularly solar power, and has worked on projects involving IoT-based environmental monitoring, solar traffic management and optimizing solar PV curtailment through EV charging. Her experience includes internships at SU Makerspace Lab and Questworks, where she gained skills in embedded systems, solar PV installation and monitoring, electrical design and drafting, programming and system load balancing.
